Biography
I have been licensed since November of 2008 and my practice focuses entirely on divorce and family law.
Practicing family law allows me to represent real people and help them through a difficult time in their life. I do not represent banks or insurance companies. I represent real people with everyday problems. People who are going through divorces, people who are trying to collect child support, people who want to adopt a child, and people who are simply trying to see their children. I take great pride in practicing family law.
Each case (and client) is different. As your lawyer, my job is to listen to you, analyze your situation, identify the legal issues, make you aware of your options and the possible consequences, and then fiercely represent you once you have decided which path to take.
I am especially familiar with the issues that service members and their spouses face in family law cases, particularly calculating child support and dividing military retirement. I have represented service members and government employees stationed all over the world.
Some divorces are very nasty, but most cases are settled through negotiating. I am always prepared to go to court to fight for my clients. But going to court is not always worth it. If we have to go to court we will be prepared to win. But if we can work things out and keep the costs down, and still get my client a good result, so much the better.

Made a tough time easy...
I used Mark to handle my divorce. My ex wife and I had a few specific things we wanted in the agreement. Mark did exactly what we needed. He was very professional and kept me informed during every step of the process. If I was in a situation where I needed an attorney again, I would call him first.
