Kay's office was highly proficient at obtaining the upfront retainer fees and ongoing high legal fees. They were timely in submitting paperwork. In the end, Kay provided little value beyond what a paralegal could have done, or a discount law office doing family law. When it was time to go before the ...judge, she had done no research on who would be hearing the case. She told me that she had prepared for a different judge, and now we were unlikely to win. She was correct. If you simply need paperwork filed on time, Kay seems like an expensive person to do this. If you need well-researched legal assistance, you should seek it elsewhere.

She didn't care that my wife had my 4 y/o daughter taken by Child Protective Services while I was in Afghanistan F'ed up on Narcotics. A child's welfare SHOULD be the most important thing to anyone, but not Kay. As soon as she learned I didn't have that kind of money, she immediately came up with eve...ry obstacle she could think of to discourage me. All of a sudden, I didn't have a case. Not trying to get sympathy here; just trying to save you some time. Again, do not even bother with this old money grubber unless you're willing to fork out a ton. Even then "There's no guarantee you'll win.". However, read the fine print; you'll be obligated to pay her regardless. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
