Anne was knowledgeable, responsive, and represented us well. She was always well-prepared for the hearings, and provided great counsel when we (especially my spouse) got nervous about how things were proceeding. We never had to wonder about the status of our case, as she kept us up-to-day all along... the way. We're so happy that Anne was able to help us as foster parents in a CPS case. She guided us all along the path to adoption. We couldn't be more pleased with her services and the outcome.

Ms. Shevlin was great with handling my Adoption of Adult and Statutory Dual Power of Attorney. Before retaining Ms. Shevlin's services, she came to meet my soon-to-be adopted daughter and me at our home in the afternoon. At a time that was convenient for us. She was warm, caring, and understanding. S...he listened very carefully to why there was a need to petition for the Adoption of an Adult and to have a Statutory Dual Power of Attorney. My adoptee is a beautiful special needs lady I met in High School. We became remarkably close during our high school years, and she came to live with me in 2008. Ms. Shevlin agreed to accept our case before leaving our home. Shortly after our meet and greet, Ms. Shevlin sent over all the needed paperwork to be filled out by the MD and the Petition for Adoption. We felt instantly relieved that we had legal representation. Ms. Shevlin kept us very well informed of the entire process throughout the court's proceeding. Any concerns or questions that we had, she always followed up with answers and addressed those concerns expeditiously. Ms. Shevlin explained in detail what to expect in the court; proceedings she even prompted us that morning of the hearing. We were at a hearing to finalize the adoption within two weeks of Ms. Shevlin filing our petition, and the Statutory Dual Power of Attorney was complete. My daughter and I had a pleasant experience with Ms. Shevlin, and we would recommend her services to anyone that needs an attorney regarding Family Law.

Anne was extremely helpful in educating our family and guiding us through the lengthy process of guardianship. Her communication was always timely and she explained things with such pragmatism that we didn't need a law degree ourselves to understand. She is warm, personable and caring. I am So Thankful n feel so Blessed that I was guided with attorney Anne Shavlin ,, I am a person that knows not much about laws n after I reached out to her I felt safe n less stressful I felt comfort ,, I needed court papers for my 7 yr old son to be able to get assistance for sec 8 ..I felt kind of... ignored by a cw at sec 8 ,, after I talked to Anne she spoke n send emails she did a very good job ... After being weeks of stress n worries,, just a few days I received a phone call that Supervisor email All cw fr SAHA to accept Power of Attorney papers ..it was a Judge relieve for me due to all the worry's I had .
