STAY. AWAY! FIRST off: Sydney knew how important meeting timelines were in my situation of coming to her saying this is my dad's last year to be able to travel. I retained her in FEBRUARY. They set the FIRST hearing for April 8, 2026. They had the enforcement ready to go on March 2, 2026. They did...n't file it with the court until March 17, 2026, intentionally adding an additional 2 weeks to getting a simple passport enforcement filed. This was simple. THEN the judge signed the order to appear on March 18th. Sydney emails me on March 31st, two weeks later "the judge still has not signed the order to appear we have to push back the April 8th hearing" and she reset it to April 30th. I sent her the signed order to appear and asked "didn't the judge sign this on March 18th?" then she completely stopped any communication for the next three months. Then she sent a process server from San Antonio to serve my ex. Why would you pay someone MY MONEY of over $1,000 to drive an 8 hour round trip from San Antonio to Houston? Why not use a server from Houston? Then we finally get to the April 30th hearing. Sydney put a date wrong in the SIMPLE FILING and the hearing got rest to May 28th. Then I start emailing the firm, asking questions, no response. none. May 7th - out of nowhere, I have not recevied a bill from this firm since March 17, 2022, Sydney sends an email with ZERO CONTEXT demanding and IMMEDIATE payment of $1750!!! No bill, no invoice of services since MARCH, no time to pay, its do IT NOW or I'm leaving you hanging. I paid and I asked for receipts, to do this day (June 7) I have no recipts of how my $5000 was spent. Nothing. Just a gap in time from March-May. We get to the NEXT hearing May 28, 2026. The night before Sydney (who hasn't responded to me since May 7) "calls in sick" and says this new girl is going to handle the case. We get to the hearing May 28. Sydney had refiled the April paperwork late, MISSING ANOTHER DEADLINE THAT GOT THE HEARING RESET AGAIN UNTIL JULY!!!!!!! Then I start asking the firm for update, no response. Then they send a bill for $1100. This firm knew how important it was to have a hearing, get the passport, and provide what I desperately needed for my family. They have spent my entire year in meaningless hearings and they have left me devastated. Stay away from this firm. Her reviews are fake, one of them is her husband, as a real client that had very serious needs, Sydney messed up every single thing she could and can't even show an invoice for how money was spent. Stay away.
