My husband and I hired David Coffin's law firm to represent us in dealing with the IRS. Absolutely the best decision, best law firm, and BEST PEOPLE. It is scary when dealing with the IRS on any tax matter, big or small. From Mr. Coffin to his associate lawyer, Alejo Pacini who handled our case an...d virtually held my hand as I worried over everything, to Kris and Beth and the rest of the staff who are top notch, thorough, knowledgeable people, and super responsive to responding via email, text, or phone calls. And I want to add all were very friendly too. My husband and I wanted to hire Mr. Coffin and his firm specifically because Mr. Coffin worked for the IRS at one time and who better to know the in's and out's of the IRS than him. And then Alejo Pacini who was assigned our case also worked at one time for the IRS. Their knowledge was INVALUABLE. Second reason was they were helpful and not judgemental that we had a tax problem, and it was a large tax problem. To complicate the situation, my husband of over 40 years died and I was grieving and no idea how to take care of myself, bills, taxes, etc. My Husband had always taken care of all the financial business. God Bless Alejo (he is an Angel) who worked with the IRS agent and got the amount owed down to a fraction of what was initally owed. Right after my Husband died, I had to leave town and take care of my sister who has multiple cancers. Alejo responded to all the IRS letters/notices promptly and took care of all the phone meetings with them, shielding me from more emotional turmoil. I will be eternally grateful to them, especially Alejo for lifting this burden from me. I am a real person and this is a real review and I wish the firm would use me as a client reference as I would love to feel like I am giving back to people who have helped me so much.
