Samuel Packard was born as the 10th of 13 children. Growing up, he played football, sang in the choir, ran track, and became an Eagle Scout. He was also active in his church and community. After graduating from high school, Samuel lived in Mexico City for almost two years, where he became fluent in Spanish and fell in love with the people and the culture.
After returning from Mexico, Samuel married the lovely and talented Robin Orsak. He finished college and went to law school at the University of Houston. After graduating from law school in 2003, Samuel started working as a Social Security disability lawyer, where he quickly earned a reputation as a compassionate and successful lawyer with a strong commitment to the people he served. Samuel has one focus: helping people who can’t work obtain Social Security disability benefits, and he has gotten very good at it. He has practiced at every level up to the federal circuit court, and has helped literally thousands of people receive Social Security disability benefits. Samuel is one of the few attorneys in Texas who is board-certified in Social Security disability law by the National Board of Social Security Disability Advocacy.
Samuel and Robin live in San Antonio with their five beautiful children. Samuel still volunteers for his church and for various charities. He also runs at events sponsored by local charities and, not too long ago, he ran a full marathon.

A very long road, but we made it through the ordeal!
Michael Packard understood my condition and was able to pull all the medical problems to present a clear picture of my condition to the judge. The road was long but receiving the disability determination was a blessing!

Disabled Needed Empathy and Representation
I am so relieved that I now have hope of being able to live and not be disabled, disregarded and dependent. I had been ill and didn't realize I was disabled until I was not able to work or even just barely live day to day. I applied for Social Security Disablity and was denied. I was in my 50's an...

Social Security Claim
The Packard law firm met and exceeded all of my expectations. My first impression was that the law firm was very professional and proficient. Unfortunately they were not my first representative. I have no doubt that if they had been representing me, I would have won my case. Samuel was very thorough ...

Happy about
I'm so happy with Packard Law Firm and the outcome of my case! I was awarded 2 years back pay and I am finally going to start receiving my monthly social security disability benefits. I felt I was entitled to this compensation but this firm worked to ensure I received what I had already worked for. W...

"I endorse this lawyer."
"Samuel Packard is an excellent attorney who understands the ins and outs of the Social Security Administration. There are several lawyers on the internet who do not know the attorneys in San Antonio. However, Samuel lives and works in San Antonio and will increase your changes to win your case. Any one in central Texas should use him and his partners at The Packard Firm."
"I endorse this lawyer. Brilliantly smart and equally passionate about winning for his clients. He is excellent at advocating for those who need his help."
"Samuel has years of experience and is Board Certified. You won't find a better attorney for Disability Law."
"Samuel has personally handled thousands of cases over the course of his lengthy career. He is also board-certified. I don't know anyone who knows as much as Samuel does about Social Security Disability."
"I know Samuel Packard to be an honest and hard working attorney who gets results. You are in good hands when you work with him."
"It's pretty straightforward: (1) He's 1 of 2 board certified Disability attorneys in the entire San Antonio / Austin region. (2) He's been practicing only Social Security Disability law for 7+ years. (3) He's very familiar with all of the ALJs in San Antonio and he's earned their respect. (4) He makes sure that everyone one that works with him treats his clients with the highest level of respect. There's not much more you could ask for when trying to choose a Social Security Attorney to work with."
