Sharyll J. Teneyuca

My experience with Attorney Sharyll S. Teneyuca was abysmal. When I first hired her for my case it was like she forgot about me for almost an entire year. It was very tough for me as I was and still am embroiled in a terrible child custody case. I believed everything she told me about fighting for me... but in the end, she never did anything. I hired Ms. Teneyuca to 1) Lower my child support. 2) Appeal and fight for my house. 3) Get a court date to fight for my two sons. Ms. Teneyuca did nothing for almost 11 months. I have text messages and emails starting in February 2021, where I am asking Ms. Teneyuca to lower my child support and she replies working on it !!!. Ms. Teneyuca did not file to lower child support until 10 months later. She never filed to appeal and fight for my house as she had said she would. she also cancelled a court date we had for December of 2021 and while she did reschedule a date for March of 2022, she never did anything to get prepared for the case and in the end, she lied to me that the case was rescheduled without her knowledge. During the year that she represented me she hired another attorney to help in the case. she told me, “He is great with jury trials, He loves to fight, and He is board certified” and He will be great when we go to court”. So, I paid him a significant amount of money. The only problem we never went to court. I lost an entire year. I would beg her over the telephone and texts to set a trial date. I begged, the longer this takes the more witnesses I am losing. She never did anything I had hired her to do. Ms. Teneyuca lied to me during the entire time I was her client. She even misplaced very important evidence for my case and then blamed me. She did apologize as she said, “I am sorry nothing was done, sorry we did not file earlier in your case” but she demanded more money. During our last meeting she stated can you at least pay 2,000 dollars I have a house payment coming up. When I asked for my case file and evidence back, she also told me that she could not meet-up with me to give me my evidence or case file because her mother had taken a fall and was injured but later that day, she was under the impression that I was going to meet with her to give her more money and she was willing to meet me at her office. I am absolutely disgusted by my experience with Sharyll S. Teneyuca.
