I hired him for a child modification and he literally dropped off the face of the earth and failed to communicate with me or file the necessary paperwork in my case in over a year! No reason given but sorry--- I let this slip through the cracks. Thus causing substantial injury to my family financial...ly and emotionally. I ended up filing a grievance with the Bar Association(but nothing was done, as many had told me I was wasting my time doing so- but I thought someone would help my kids... NOT). To add insult to injury he signed a final order that I had never viewed that opposing counsel wrote that was not what judge ordered and never consulted me about. Long story short, I lost a lot of money, my kids suffered and no one was held accountable. Due to my filing a complaint he filled to be dropped from the case days before my court date leaving me without counsel and without another 5k to hire someone to advocate for my kids. I tried everything to get justice for my children and even the judge said he filed the paperwork too late and because the order was signed and entered my kids are out of what the judge ordered originally and I am going to have to start all over... oh and in another state... So these are things to take into account when deciding. I hope all of my emotion was sidelined and you can see exactly what I am saying.
