Joe D. Gonzales

After meeting with Joe Gonzales and talking about the possible outcomes of my case, he assured me he could get me out of the mess I was in. After being offered a "deal" by paying him the majority of the money upfront within a few weeks, I was then pawned off to his assistant Mr Hendreckson and he han...dled the remainder of my case until the final plea bargain which he basically intimidated me to taking by not giving me adequate time to decide how to come up with several thousand more dollars to take the case to trial. I personally feel like he no longer wanted to deal with my case so that he could work on his campaign for district attorney. I feel cheated and now harbor a distrust for any lawyer in the San Antonio area after seeing the "office politics" that go on at the Bexar County Courthouse. Mr Gonzales blatently lied to me and did not deliver his end of the bargain. He did not inform me of possible outcomes or consequences of taking the supposedly good offer that was offered by the district attorneys. Several times the judges even questioned if Mr Gonzales was even informing me of my rights. When I was sentenced, I had to do jail time of which I was not even aware that I would have to serve immediately much to the surprise of the judge as well. For a first time offender, this was an absolutely horrendous experience and it has cost me my livelihood and has only afforded me constant difficulty in trying to remain a productive member of society. I have lost my job, house, and now am living on the streets because he failed to do his job. I didn't know the law; that's why I paid him. I was just another paycheck to him and the whole time he and his associate kept asking me for money even though I had already paid them in the beginning. Do not trust this man.

The trial was very stressful for me and as we were waiting for the jury to return with their verdict after deliberation I will never forget how terrified I was and how Mr. Gonzales calmingly placed his hand on mine and smiled and said, “Do not lose your faith now.” He was confident until the very end and even when I had feared the worst he believed in my case. The jury came back very quickly with a unanimous decision and acquitted me of the charge. I will never forget what I went through to fight for the truth and I will never forget how hard Mr. Gonzales and his team fought for me. They were amazing and I felt so blessed to have them fighting in my corner. Joe, from the bottom of my heart I want thank you and will never forget what you did. I would recommend Joe Gonzales to anyone who needs a lawyer because I truly believe and know from experience that he and his team are the best lawyers a person can have. His integrity, experience, and knowledge are assets for anyone who needs a professional lawyer to fight for their case. I would highly recommend him!

The bottom line for me is that I was looking at having a felony on my record for the rest of my life and in my opinion I do not because I hired Joe D. Gonzales. Mr. Gonzales got me probation and a 100% clean record which I feel I cannot put a price on. The first time I called the office I was able ...to speak with Mr. Gonzales, and neither my lawyer at the time or the pretrial services officer were allowing me to travel for my job. Mr. Gonzales got me permission to travel within 30 minutes of hiring him. Mr. Gonzales' legal team were always very helpful and answered all my questions. Once the police accuse you of a crime you will find that all people assume you are guilty, wrong, and that whatever the police say about you is true. Most people will, then place you in a different segment in society. In dealing with Mr. Gonzales I felt completely unjudged. He also got a $1500.00 fine taken off my settlement. I will be able to get hired for any job or live anywhere I want and I attribute that directly to hiring Mr. Gonzales as my lawyer.

Attorney Joe Gonzales is an outstanding lawyer he handled mine and my daughter's case I hired him the day my daughter went to court they were not gonna let her out for a few week's which meant she was gonna miss the holiday's so he got started on her case immediately and had her out 1 week late the e...nd result was great and was alot less than we expected his pricing was awesome Joe also handled my case which I hired him when we were already in trial and he had little time but yet again awesome results Joe got my case dismissed I am so happy now I don't have to worry about not being able to get a job or having this follow me all my life I am so greatful for Joe he is a great person and an outstanding lawyer!!!!!
