Bertha Alicia Zuniga

Bertha is the BEST immigration lawyer I've ever met. During the period I was detained (about 13 months and a half) my family consulted several lawyers and some of them didn't want to take my case, others said that my best option, was to get voluntary departure and fight my case in Mexico, and one o...f them took my case and did NOTHING!!! We wasted time (five months) and money on a lawyer that literally did NOTHING, yet he promised to get me out. My family then hired Bertha, and since the first time I talked to her, she talked with such confidence (something I had never seen or heard from any other lawyer) that I knew she would help me win my case. My husband and family later told me that when they went to see her, they realized she was the right lawyer for my case. The best thing my family did during the time I was detained, was hire her!! I could never thank her enough for giving me my freedom and helping me be with my family again. Now I am a Lawful Permanent Resident of this country thanks to Bertha.....She is truly AMAZING! Mi familia no pudo haber contratado a una mejor abogada para mi caso. Estuve detenida por casi 13 meses y medio, y ningun abogado me pudo sacar. Nadie nos daba esperanzas, pues mi caso era muy complicado, pero gracias a Bertha todo salió bien. Toda mi espera dentro de una detención valió la pena grac...ias a ella. Todos los abogados me dijeron que era mejor pedir salida voluntaria, y pelear mi caso en Mexico, y el único otro abogado que tomó mi caso no hizo NADA!! I had no idea where to start when my husband was detained by immigration. I contacted an attorney in our hometown, Waco, and the only name she gave me was Bertha Zuniga. I quickly figured out that this was the only name I needed. I contacted Bertha's office and gave them our information. Bertha, hers...elf, contacted me very quickly and visited my husband promptly. He was detained on Thursday and Monday morning we hired her as our attorney. She did everything she said she would and she did it quickly. I could always get a hold of her for any questions I might have and she communicated with me every step of the way. I highly recommend her and believe she is the best immigration attorney out there. Even the guards in the detention center assured my husband he had nothing to worry about with Bertha in his corner. They were right, she had him out in 48 days and back with his family! We are forever greatful for all Bertha did for us and feel extremely blessed that we found her!!

My family and I are very thankful to have found Bertha Alicia Zuniga because my fathers case was very difficult. Before we found her we've had two other lawyers fighting for his case and they both promised they would fight hard for his case but they didn't and said the case was too difficult. After s...everal months someone recommend us to contact mrs Zuniga because we heard she was a good lawyer.. once we did she gathered everything she needed, she met up with us a lot and talked about how the case could turn out or not. On the final court day for my dad we were all nervous but confident because she did a lot, more then any other lawyer did.. the judge decided to let my dad stay here instead of deporting him. My only regret was not hiring Mrs. Zuniga sooner! Our first lawyer gave us no hope and basically said it was a difficult case and little to do for him. Made us feel like every attorney would say the same. Kept taking our money and ran. Garza law firm would not answer our questions we had and needed t...o know about the case and paperwork. After 9 months when we fired the first attorney, Mrs. Zuniga fought hard with my husband's case and was persistent on his court date and in less than 2 weeks he was out. She is an amazing lawyer, persistent , knowledgeable, and determined. She let us know everything she was doing step by step with his case.
