Where can I start I hired mrs Alison at a very important time in my life and she literally became a part of my family. I was going thru a crazy separation with the mother of my son and I couldn’t have sat down with more understanding person in my life she got right to business and basically saved my ...life she is the most professional person I’ve dealt with on this type of matter all ways there to help no matter what her situation is .. and fought tooth and nail for me and my son not to mention she is the top ten civil attorney in Texas some years running..now but any way she got me full custody of my son and has been a very helpful person to me and a life long friend highly recommended one the best..

I hired Alison for a child custody modification and as someone who is related to a former chief justice on the 4th court of appeals in San Antonio, I can say she is a horrendous attorney. I have proof in emails and phone records of how negligent she was, and so many bills where new charges were added... on with no explanation and no work completed. To say she dropped the ball on my case is an understatement, she put my daughter's safety at risk. Please do not hire this dishonest, ignorant attorney. You WILL regret it. I can also say that when I hired Alison in June of 2014, she had hardly any reviews on this site, so I know that she is having her staff (Tim) write positive reviews for her. Speaking of staff, she has no associates as the title of her practice would suggest, and her assistant is an uneducated liar as well. You can expect Alison to raise rates without notifying you, go months without returning calls or emails, personally jeopardize your case, make tons of excuses, and find any way possible to prolong your case so that she can rob you even more. Do yourself a favor and pay a little higher retainer for a QUALITY attorney, not a wannabe prominent attorney who is more like a "used car salesman".

So I hired this hick and associates to represent me for a pending divorce and payed a retainer. Her little assistants were clueless and could never answer a question nor had any idea on actual law though they were attorneys. Could never get an answer from them, they never returned phone calls and A...lison was no where to be found. My wife and I ended up working things out and I still had over 900 left from the retainer and of course the criminals this place is they double billed and couldn't explain the charges but to say what was on the paperwork which showed the same as a previous bill. My wife's attorney stated they had lost official court filings and documentation and they had to redo a lot of paperwork. Thank god this worked out otherwise I was going to get hammered in court because they were beyond incompetent!!!! Extremely disorganized, unprofessional, and have no ethics what so ever though they signed a bill of ethics. I recommend getting someone off the street corner before you use this law firm. BY FAR THE WORST ATTORNEY I EVER DEALT WITH....GO ELSEWHERE ANYONE IS BETTER THAN ALISON HICKS AND ASSOCIATES!!!!!!!!
