After 2 court appearances I made numerous attempts to contact Mr. House regarding my case that had a few unresolved issues still left. He would not return my call and finally when he did about 3 weeks later it was via email telling me that he had a "family" emergency and could not be helped. So I ema...iled him back again requesting that he call me and to this day he has not done so. So basically this is client abandonment. I'm currently in the process of reporting him to the state BAR in Austin Texas for review. FYI Mr. House if you are reading this...this case is still active and will be until next year when it is finally closed. Hope I don't need you before then. I feel like I got the short end of the stick with this unreliable arrogant attorney. I would definitely be more selective if I ever needed an attorney in the future. He's still a baby and has only been in business since 2007. Too bad. Not the best way to run a law firm. I'm also considering a civil law suit to recover some of his fee since he did not provide the service I paid for. Basically, STAY AWAY FROM JOHN-MICHAEL HOUSE, Attorney at Law in San Antonio, TX. Search hard for someone with experience and references.
