My experience with Suzanne Taylor was nothing short of extraordinary (for the circumstances)! Initial consultation was available on short notice, fee was discussed ahead of time AND respected. In the matter of Protective order she was VERY responsive and answered my call on weekend. She dealt with... much patience with my husband's unreasonable (I dare say!) requests and his lawyer's push to make me accept them. Maybe most importantly, she understood me as a person in distress, mother faced with issues I did not expect from my ex. We all need to make a living by doing what we are doing, but with her, I never had an impression that money is all she is after. Moreover, many years later and when things were well over and done with; she did for me yet another legal favor related to the case - at no cost! That deserves much respect and appreciation. The fact that she does not advertise her legal office and services tells you enough about referrals she is getting from her existing clients. Then and now, I appreciate all she did for me. The ONE AND ONLY positive thing I can say about this stereotypical scumbag lawyer is that she is an excellent salesperson. She went above and beyond to secure the $10k all up front retainer she claimed was well worth the cost. The entire work she did for me was all at the beginning to secure the $1...0k. After she received the money it took her weeks to start on my divorce case. Then she proceeded to sneak in a "supervised visit" for me with my children claiming it was no big deal. After firing her and obtaining a competent more experienced lawyer; I then learned a "supervised visit" even one is detrimental to any parent's custody case. Suzzane consistently gave me advice that benefited my ex spouse and would throw a tantrum when I mentioned I had a friend giving me a second opinion on her shady and EXTREMELY lazy lack of attorney work. She is the definition of a lawyer that will request as much money as she can and do the absolute minimum work possible for your case. She consistently sided with my spouse who she had never met and knew nothing about. She refunded a little over half the retainer when I fired her. She burned through as much of the retainer as she could with $300 phone calls giving me no legal advice only throwing tantrums that I dared get a second opinion over her arrogant "expert" opinion she has of herself and her lawyering ability. If you are a male do not even consider letting yourself get ripped off by this saleswoman posing as a lawyer. If you are a female I would still think twice about retaining her services because she will charge the most money for nothing but excuses and her lengthy justifications about how she knows all(yet never got anything done legally for me in my divorce in the entire three months I was tricked into utilizing her services). I obtained a competent lawyer upon firing her and within a week had temporary divorce orders benefiting my divorce and representing me as any lawyer you pay should.
