R. Tylden Shaeffer

Two years ago, I was desperate to help my son in a situation involving police overreach by five officers. His car stalled on a road early one morning. But his phone was discharged, so he couldn't call anyone for help. The officers showed up shortly after and wanted him to get out of the car. He ref...used because they wouldn't tell him what he had actually done wrong. Things escalated. He was pulled out of the car, tased, dropped on the ground, received head and facial lacerations, was arrested and charged with two felony assaults. As a mother, these charges were my worst nightmare. My son is a kind intelligent young man in his twenties. I could not accept the idea that now, for the rest of his life, he might be stopped and treated unjustly by law enforcement because this event would be on his record. It would also impact his ability to get a good job and misrepresent him negatively within his family and community. There were three police cars, but no video on any of them to corroborate the allegations made on the police report. Tylden pursued my son's defense tenaciously and got him the best possible outcome! All charges were dismissed due to lack of evidence. We could not have chosen a better attorney and are eternally grateful.

When I got charged with my DWI I already expected to go through a long, painful process from the beginning. He was always straight forward and I could tell he had my best intere...st in mind. He made sure I didn't get charged with "extreme intoxication", while also reducing my fines and the length of my probation. I highly recommend him to anyone!

Mr Shaeffer was up front from the beginning, and I respected that. He told me they have a solid case against me. He is a very out of the box thinker, and very organized. He told me the sad reality of what could potentially be the outcome of my case, and it was dim. However he asked me what i wanted ...and was creative enough to deliver at an extremely affordable price . He has the knowledge to defend you, and the experience to win. I'm very happy with how he handled my case. His office is also only blocks away from the court house and he is always prompt. I don't usually write reviews, but Mr. Tylden Shaeffer deserves to be recognized.
