Kathy Marie Orr

I recently enlisted Ms. Orr to represent me in a divorce proceeding. I shopped around to find someone I felt was experienced in the court room, understanding of my situation and of course, specialized in family law. After the initial interview, I came away feeling she was very knowledgeable about the... law and explained the process that needed to be undertaken to adequately represent me. I feel that I could not have made a better choice. My phone calls were returned promptly, she was well prepared for court and I received a better than expected settlement.

Kathy took my Divorce case when I was near my breaking point. My now ex-wife had been embezzling funds from my bank account that the ex was not on but was employed by the same bank. Through the divorce process Kathy stood by me, in the early portion being the only friend I had. As a Soldier at the ti...me (prior to my retirement) the ex attempted to use the Army as a catalyst to force me to pay more money that she had been stopped from taking from my bank account. Kathy worked with a Army JAG lawyer to address my Chain of Command in stopping the financial bleeding the ex was attempting to cause through the Army. Finally as the divorce drew to a close during mediation, Kathy caught verbiage in the purposed settlement that would not have allowed me to sue the Bank my ex had worked for when she had been embezzling funds. Kathy was able to force my ex to sign an agreement that actually allowed me to sue her and the bank she had work for prior to her termination. My ex acquiesced to our every demand to keep the divorce from going to trial as it would have likely gone very badly for her. I hold Kathy whole responsible for this. When I need someone to stand up for me Kathy not only stood up for me, she treated me like I was her only client and the most important. I plan to keep to her on retainer although my divorce is over. Her services where invaluable. I would recommend Kathy to anyone especially if they are in the Military. Kathy know the UCMJ and Army regulations. She told my chain "I am his lawyer you WILL not talk to him." (BTW my ex did not get 1 red cent of my medical retirement,) and I now have a multi million dollar law suit against the Bank. I am currently represented my Don Doyle who praised Kathy's efforts during the divorce and making it so that neither the ex nor the bank had any wiggle room to get out of the Law Suit.
