I am Board Certified in the Area of Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and am licensed to practice in the State of Texas, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas. 

 

The primary focus of my practice is divorce, child custody and enforcement of property agreements.  I have been named as a rising star in Texas Monthly 2005-09, 2011-2014, a Texas Super Lawyer by Texas Monthly 2014-2021 and been named as one of the best family lawyers in San Antonio, Texas by Scene in SA magazine in 2011-21.

Knowledgable and extremely efficent
Jason assisted us with a family custody matter. While it was an amicable situation it had many different facets that needed to be addressed. Jason navigated everything with foresight in an efficient manner. He made a challenging situation a pleasurable process. Truly caring and skilled attorney
I hired Jason Bashara for a complex child custody case which required modifying a final decree to add a geographic restriction. Though this was an uphill battle, Jason worked diligently to find supporting case law to support our case. He was truly invested in our case, proving that we were not just seen as a billable hour. He was always punctual, prepared for court and extremely prompt to return calls.

Jason is worth every penny!
Jason is a true professional. He was recommended to me by another prominent attorney in San Antonio so rest assured Jason is well thought of by his peers. Even though I hired Jason on short notice it didn't affect his ability to quickly jump in and perform like a champion. As soon as I talked to Jason I knew he was super knowledgeable and very much in tune with my needs as a client. Jason is attentive and very well versed in family law. Needless to say he won my case handily. I can honestly say that he is trustworthy and worth every penny I spent with him. Jason is a pleasure to deal with and by now I'm sure you understand how pleased I am that I found him. I hope I never need an attorney again but if I do rest assured it will be Jason.

Another Big City Attorney
In my experience, Jason was mostly a chicken waiting for chicken feed. He had some good attributes, but he did little to fight for my case. We parted ways within a week or so of me hiring him. If I would have taken his advice though and settled, I would have been completely screwed for the next 16 years. One of the best decisions I have ever made was letting him go within a week or so of hiring him. I am so glad I didn't let him persuade me to settle on accepting a bogus protective order that was filed by my ex wife, over a tale she spun. I hired another attorney within a day of letting him go and we got it withdrawn within a couple of weeks.

I am sorry that you and I were not able to work together to resolve your matter. While this occurred two years ago, I remember your case and the facts surrounding the protective order. Horrible customer service
I had called regarding how to go about filing a court order for a Paternity Test. I had found out when I was transfered that I was speaking to my ex girlfriends aunt. She told me who she was and said " Go find someone else" This is totally disrespectful and uncalled for.

Sir, I have no idea who are, however, your former girlfriend is a former employee of my office. I would have assumed you would have known that a conflict of interest existed. Perhaps, my legal assistant was taken aback with your call due to this obvious conflict. That said, she conveyed to you the same information as would have been provided had you spoken with me personally. Best of luck in your pursuit.
