They would have to get a judgment against you, and a garnishment. In Texas, its very difficult to get.

They would have to file a garnishment action which is highly unlikely here in Texas. Talk to a local attorney.

If you are talking about urban house, I don't see a problem; however, in a rural house, it would never be ok to shoot a BB gun.
