I am a clinical RN and a hospice nurse, and I guess sometimes a rather naïve senior citizen. It seems I had the simple misfortune of moving in next to some persons the likes of whom I had never encountered before, and was certainly not prepared for. The first thing I knew was that I was under multi...ple lawsuits, and that somehow even the District Attorney's office was involved, and that there were multiple allegations/charges against me, and active warrants out for my arrest. I was blessed to quickly find Shawn Brown's law firm, and Daphne Previti spoke with me multiple times that same night. She listened, assured and calmed me. It was like she could see right into the circumstances, and into the persons that had caused my circumstances. Anyone that has ever been in trouble with the Law. Has heard once you get in the system they keep you in the system. Which is very true…….the council that you select can and will definitely determine the outcome! I was involved in a altercation in 2007 during a ugly divorce. I was involved in a f...ight with my soon to be ex wife’s new boyfriend. At my house on on my property. I was attacked , however no witnesses only her and him. So I was taking it to trial . I was looking at 2-20years. So in 2012 I took a deal , and received 10 yrs deferred. No Felony…I didn’t want to take a chance on not getting to see my 8 yr old daughter grow up and miss really knowing her. Only because the attorney I did not select did NOT help me. So moving forward 3 months left on Probation I received a MTR (motion to revoke) probation. Due to not paying the full amount of the $38,000.00 restitution . I asked friends and researched not good but great Representation…..Shawn C Brown Law firm.
