Megan R. Meyerson

I'm writing this review so nobody will make the mistake of hiring Megan R. Meyerson as their attorney. You are better off going to court alone and throwing thousands of dollars in the garbage can. Megan is the most sloppy, lazy, unmotivated, attorney I have ever dealt with. I have no idea how she eve...n passed the bar exam she's that bad. She doesn't care about her clients or about you winning your case. It almost feels like she works in conjunction with opossing council against YOU her client to lose. She has no passion for her job or clients and does not care what happens in your case. Miss Meyerson was my attorney and my child was ripped from me after having sole custody for 13 years. Now my child is in stuck in a terrible unsafe living situation fending for herself. Instead of staying in her loving home with competent adult supervision. She should find another profession so she doesn't ruin anymore families lives.

Last year in 2019, I was dealing with my divorce and hired Ms. Meyerson to represent me. I know different practices operate different but my complaints are as follows: She didn't ask me or advised me that it would be easier to change my name while going through the divorce paperwork, now I have to p...ay out of pocket. Met with her only once, and wanted to only communicate through email, which she charged $50 for common questions one might have regarding the case. Did not make sure that I would get any of my kids birthday available to me to celebrate with them. Now my ex is the only one who gets to throw them a party or take them a picture on their actual birthday. When it came down to doing the math about child support, her suggestion was merely fair. In fact, the lawyer my ex hired recommended a higher amount and thats what we went with. She even confused my case with another and sent me an email with sensitive information about someone else. At the end of the process, before I signed, she said we needed mediation to talk about a simple matter that my ex and I actually got to resolve over the phone. What she did not fail to mention was the charge I would have to pay to resolve a minor issue of the paperwork. $4000 down the drain. All I got was a standard contract for divorced parents.
