I currently practice primarily bankruptcy law. I file Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies for clients. I will consider representing clients in criminal law cases (felonies and misdemeanors) in Hays or Guadalupe Counties on a case by case basis. I am not on the court appointed list, and I would need to be retained.

Great Attorney and very patient

We filed BK7 in Dec 2017, Jackie walked us through the process and almost literally held our hands through the entire process. She was the turning point in a very grim part of our lives. She answered question upon question and always treated us like we were human beings. I don't remember exactly how ...I found her in my search of attorneys but I am glad that we did find her! She held off circling debt attorneys and worked wonders with our mortgage company. If you are considering this difficult decision know that she will give you all options and truly advise you on what is best.

Excellent Bankruptcy Attorney

Jackie was so helpful and told me exactly what to expect every step of the way. I only wish I had filed bankruptcy a couple of years before I did. It has been 7+ months since my Bankruptcy was finalized and what a relief it has been starting fresh. Jackie is very knowledgeable and will guide you ...through the entire process. She is extremely kind and patient with any questions you may have. I was fine until the day before my Bankruptcy hearing where you have to appear in court and I started getting nervous, as if I had to go before Judge Judy! Jackie had already explained that you do not go before an actual Judge, but rather a Bankruptcy trustee. I had the idea in my head like I was in trouble or something and even got lost and was a few minutes late for my hearing! Jackie calmed me down and sure enough, I was in and out of the hearing in just a few minutes. If you have any doubts and are drowning with no way out of debt, you owe it to yourself to consult with Jackie. It is so nice to be able to answer the phone again without it being a bill collector plus I am on my way to rebuilding my credit (responsibly this time). Thank you Jackie!

Professional Review for Experience

I had over $50K in CC debts alone. Then there were medical bills and many other obligations. I am self employed and became a victim of the bad economy when customers were either not paying or extremely slow about paying. This quickly had such a snowball affect on me I had to seek help. I talked to cr...edit counselors for relief to no avail. I finally googled Jackie and though skeptical decided to at least visit with her to discuss my problems/debts. My initial consultation visit actually brought me peace of mind---I knew that everything would be alright. Jackie was patience and informative as we discussed options. Though I was in over my head she didn't make me feel degraded or inferior. I do not readily trust people (especially lawyers), yet I felt that she was someone that had my best interests at heart. When I left our initial appointment I felt that there was hope. However, many questions started to crowd my mind as I pondered my situation late nights. I would call or email her with questions she always responded promptly never robbing me of my dignity. When I decided that bankruptsy was inevitable she patiently guided me through the process never making me fill less of a person. She was extremely knowleadgeable regarding all of the process and procedures from start to finish. She stayed in touch with me through the whole process either verbally or through e-mail. I never had a moment where I felt that I did not know or understand what was going on or expected of me. I was especially impressed on "D" day when I had to appear before the bankruptsy trustee/judge. As I watched the mis-stakes of cases before me I was a bit nervous. However, Jackie's poise and confidence gave me strength. Would I use her in the future for legal services---YES!!! In fact, I have already consulted her on some collection issues. Finally, if you need a lawyer that breaks the dirty, nasty, untrustworthy definition of lawyers---Call Jackie! She will get the job done and make you feel good about yourself while doing it.
