The Los Angeles Times wrote an editorial about a topic of national interest on who were these black men who were being fatally shot by police across the country.   A former client was one such man.   Gloria Yates Early was interviewed about the guilt and innocence trial and the bench verdict in the case.   The newspaper checked with the court trial and appellate record to fact check the facts Ms. Early gave in the interview.  The story was run by the Lost Angeles paper and Attorney Early's interview statements appeared in the Los Angeles Times.

Ms. Early obtained her undergraduate Bachelors of Arts Degree from the University of Texas, Austin, Texas in 1974.   She otained a graduate Lawyers Assistant Certificate from Texas State University in San Marcos in 1988 before heading to Oklahoma City University in 1995 to start law School.    While attending OCU Ms. Early obtained Deans List and received her Doctorate of Jurisprudence Degree December 12, 1998.  

The Texas Supreme Court conferred a Texas law license on her on June 12, 1999.

Following graduation and licensure as a Texas Attorney,  Ms. Early studied business law and business management at Texas State (The Southwest Texas State in San Marcos, Texas) and at the University of Texas, San Antonio.
