Jonathan Ballenger Cluck

We had the misfortune of having to deal with Mr. Cluck on an eviction lawsuit. When we did win our case (which had pretty much already been won by attorney Sid Lawrence), Mr. Cluck was asked by the court what amount would cover the legal fees. Mr. Cluck specified an amount that he later decided was...n't enough, because he then billed us (his CLIENTS, not the opposition), for an extra $900!! He was very pompous and arrogant about it, and sent us a nasty collection letter before the bill was even due. We couldn't understand how an error on his part should be billed to us ("sorry, I underestimated, $900 please!) Winning the case wasn't the win it should have been, because we had to pay legal fees anway. He should have been more prepared to answer that question, only a few secretarial hours were outstanding. This was so unnecessary and unfair that we had to pay the extra legal fees when the OPPOSITION should have been responsible for it. Mr Cluck's attitude was rude, uncaring, and completely unprofessional.
