Terry W. Wood P.C. was established in January 2005 after Terry Wood resigned as a shareholder with his previous law firm. Since 2005, the law firm’s primary practice has been in various areas of civil litigation. Terry Wood is the sole attorney at Terry W. Wood P.C. with a team of employees who have a combined 30+ years working together toward providing effective representation of the firm’s clients.
Terry Wood was raised in Beaumont, Texas. He graduated from Lamar University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1984 and graduated from South Texas College of Law in 1987 where he was on Law Review. He was licensed to practice law in Texas 1987.
Terry was Board Certified in both Civil Trial Law and in Personal Injury Trial Law in 1993. He was Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law until 2013. He is currently Board Certified in Civil Trial Law. Terry is AV rated (the highest rating) by Martindale Hubbell and is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
