also known as Felicia Harris Hoss
For more than 20 years, Felicia has been resolving disagreements both inside and outside of the courtroom.
Felicia has assisted plaintiffs and defendants -- individuals and entrepreneurs, as well as privately-held and publicly-traded companies -- navigate complex legal and business problems in a wide range of industries and involving a broad spectrum of claims. By way of example, Felicia has experience resolving disagreements involving contractual rights, partnership formation and duties, trade secrets, employment agreements, misrepresentations and fraud, business disparagement and defamation, fiduciary duties, corporate governance, federal and state employment laws, lease agreements, employment agreements, personal injury and wrongful death claims, seismic exploration rights and other real property interests, and warranty claims.
Because Felicia has first- and second-chaired jury trials and final arbitration hearings, and resolved other disputes through mediation and negotiation, she appreciates how challenging it can be to find creative solutions to complex problems. Felicia has a passion for the law and the rights and privileges afforded through the American legal system. However, Felicia firmly believes that personal and business interests and relationships are often-times better-served through thoughtful planning, deliberation and negotiation.
In her spare time, Felicia has been active in her community. She has served as a member of the Steering Committee for Emerging Women Leaders through the Greater Houston Partnership, as an Advisory Board Member to Woodway Financial Advisors, as a Director for the Pearland Economic Development Corporation, and is a graduate of the Center for Houston’s Future Leadership Forum. Additionally, Felicia served two elected terms as a Councilmember for the City of Pearland, and in 2009-2010, was Mayor Pro Tem.
After law school, Felicia served as briefing attorney to Chief Justice John Hill Cayce, Jr. (Ret.) at the Court of Appeals for the Second District of Texas in Fort Worth, Texas. Felicia graduated valedictorian of her law school class at South Texas College of Law in 1997, and was an Articles Editor for the South Texas Law Review.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism (emphasis in public relations) from Texas A&M University in 1992.
