I had been fight a battle of trying to divorce an abusive ex husband that wouldn't not sign the papers and he lived in another state. You are better off with a public defender! I paid lot of money for absolutely nothing. I eventually had to drop him after the 2nd time of him not sharing information I needed to know about my custody case. Because of him I went longer than I ever should have to see my child. He honestly mad...e it the situation worse. Please save your money, hire anyone other than him. Or just stick with a public defender, at least they’ll actually show up for the court dates .
