Kathy Leclaire White

Ms. Kathy worked on my divorce case, she was the primary attorney handling my case, as my ex-wife and I attempted to come to an agreement on my son's custody and financial matters in our divorce mediation. I usually do not write reviews, but I wanted to express my appreciation for everything that Ms.... Kathy did for me. She was always present, available, and provided me the room to share my experience and what was important to me. Ms. Kathy was able to provide me with guidance based on her expertise, an honest assessment of my case, which was not always easy to hear but I always found it useful to know where I stood and what to expect. Ms. Kathy was caring and was determined to fight for what was important to me, custody of my son, and she was able to negotiate in mediation joint custody of my son with all rights split 50/50, which any father who lives in Texas and is going through a divorce knows it is not easy to get. Ms. Kathy was available 24/7, 7 days a week, was available on her vacation to Costa Rica as unfortunately it overlapped with the closing on my house, she was available to talk to the realtor and protect my interests in the transaction, at the expense of her vacation. Ms. Kathy was always available to talk, to listen, to commensurate with me and what I was going through, at times having to be more of a counselor than a lawyer, walking me through different situations and how to handle them, and for all this I will always be grateful that she was part of my life and this difficult experience. On more practical matters, she was able to work with me and how much she charged me for her services, help that made it easier for me to survive through a lengthy and expansive process. Regardless of the money, her help was immeasurable and it is important to have someone who is on your side in difficult moments in life. Thank you Ms. Kathy for everything that you did for me, thank you for giving me the opportunity to spend time with my son, I own you the fact that he is in my life every week. I know words will never be enough, I hope this is just a small token of what your help means to me.
