Christopher Edward Duncan

I went to Mr. Duncan for a consultation on a business start up. He was extremely unknowledgeable and could not provide me with any answers to my questions. I left the appointment with a promise from him that he would find out what I had wanted to know and email me. I never heard back from him. After ...that, his receptionist would not put my phone calls through, and told me that I had paid for his time, not his knowledge, and that he did not have enough time to help me. The fact of the matter is, that before my appointment I was assured that he could help me, I paid him a consultation fee of $100, and was not consulted on anything. This lawyers profiles claim that he practices business law, but he could not provide me with any information on copyrighting laws, tax laws, or even the basics of what steps I needed to take to have my business properly licensed and running legally. I wasted my money and several months of my time waiting for this man to help me. I did end up filing a complaint against him with the Texas Bar Association.
