Bradley Wayne Hoover

Mr. Hoover graduated from Texas Tech University, summa cum laude, with Honors in 1985.  He attended the University of Texas School of Law where he also graduated with Honors in 1988.  After law school, he began his practice at the Chicago based international law firm of Mayer, Brown & Platt (now Mayer Brown  LLP).

In 1994, Mr. Hoover started his own law firm which he operated until being asked to join Nickens, Keeton, Lawless, Farrell & Flack LLP in 2003. Nickens, Keeton, Lawless, Farrell & Flack was acquired by McGuireWoods LLP on January 1, 2011.  Mr. Hoover left McGuireWoods in late 2011 to pursue a family law practice and to, among other things, represent clients in claims related to the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill that occurred in April 2010.

Mr. Hoover has lived in Brazoria County for over 12 years.  His wife – Kristen Hoover – owns and operates a salon in Angleton called Bohemian Hair.

​In his legal career, Mr. Hoover has represented individuals in a variety of family law matters. He has also represented large and small businesses and individuals in a broad variety of commercial disputes including securities, fraud, defamation, breach of contract, shareholder derivative claims, ERISA, and breach of fiduciary duty claims in state and federal courts at the trial and appellate levels.
