Dismissal!

I'm so Grateful to have met Mr. Don Hecker. I'm still in awe... He was honest and professional. I would recommend his legal services to anyone.

Speak softly and carry a big stick

Don Hecker is a soft spoken man, with a humble office and an equally soft spoken team….but don’t let that fool you. He and his team GET. THE JOB. DONE! I have never been in trouble with the law before. So, the entire process was at first rather daunting. However, Mr. Hecker’s staff was very pa...tient with me and explained the process to me step by step. Mr. Hecker, himself told me that each case is different, but that this was one that he would push for dismissal. After a few resets my case was at last DISMISSED! Afterwards, Mr. Hecker explained to me the process of removing the whole thing from my record. This was truly an experience to remember. Glad it’s over. Thank you Mr. Hecker and team! -A.

Scammed. No shame

Lied. Never even made a phone call in behalf of my son. SLICK! What can I say, I’m a widow, that money I paid was such a sacrifice!

Dismissal of a false felony indictment.

Three years ago my fiancee of two months became angry and filed a report that I committed a serious felony against her, It was all lies and omission of pertinent facts but the DA's office had me indicted and charged with no evidence to back her claim. The case was finally dismissed this month after ...costing me much of my savings. Two years and 8 months after my indictment! Our constitutional right for a speedy trial doesn't exist in Harris County. I hired Don because it was obvious he was a competent and experienced trial lawyer. I refused the plea bargain offer because I would not admit guilt to a crime I did not do and I believed Don would get me acquitted. His paralegal, Jessica, was a great help and also very professional. Don spent more time on my case than he was compensated for. He never asked for additional fees, I feel like I will always owe him for his perseverance on my case.

Almost Lost my trivial case

If I could give a half star, I would. These are my observations after I hired Attorney Hecker. I had no option but to let him go. 1) He will quote a very small fee for your case- He does that to attract a lot of gullible clients. Which means he takes on more clients than he could possibly cater for.... 2) He does not provide any contract/agreement of the service he will be providing to you - make sure to get a contract signed with him before you make any payment. He needs to be responsive to you. He needs to show up in court and not send his assistant or paralegal. 3) Once you pay him the full amount he starts to be unresponsive. On multiple occasions he does not even remember you have paid the full amount...If you abide by (2) you should be fine 4) To avoid all his contrivance, just hire a different attorney. This is my recommendation especially if you know you are innocent in the case.
