Stephen A. Littlefield

ACS Certified BS Chem, JD; admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the Texas and Oklahoma State Bars and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Steve has practiced intellectual property law since 1974 and possesses extensive experience in U.S. and international patent preparation and prosecution as well as U.S and International trademark practice. His fields of expertise include electrochemical, paint and oilfield chemical products and equipment. He also has considerable experience in the preparation of infringement and validity studies. Steve has negotiated and prepared technology-related agreements, including joint development, licensing, secrecy, and acquisition/divestiture agreements.

Prior to 1974, while working in industry, Steve spent four years as an electroplating research chemist followed by private and in-house corporate practice as patent attorney.
