My experience with Ebony Williams Law Firm during my child modification case was extremely disappointing and emotionally exhausting. While communication was present, it often felt very fee-focused rather than genuinely client-centered or supportive during such a difficult custody matter. Throughou...t my case, I experienced surprise invoices, repeated requests for documents and evidence that had already been submitted, and ongoing billing concerns that added unnecessary stress. At one point, a court date was canceled due to a miscommunication regarding payment, which I found incredibly upsetting and unprofessional. There were also times I felt I was being billed for work that I largely handled myself. Toward the end of my case, a new attorney was brought in to review my matter, yet it appeared the evidence and information I had already previously submitted had not been properly transferred or organized for review. After spending a significant amount of money, this was very frustrating and concerning to experience. Overall, I personally did not feel that I received the level of diligence, organization, advocacy, or support I expected during such an important legal matter. Instead of feeling guided through the process, I often felt overwhelmed, financially drained, and unheard. As a mother navigating a custody battle, having legal representation you can trust and feel supported by is critical. Unfortunately, based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this firm.
