A topnotch lawyer

It was a pleasure working with Vernier and Associates. The entire staff is very professional, thorough, knowledgeable, courteous, caring, and have the depth and breath of knowledge and experience to ensure the client receives a fair, just, and precise agreement that is complete and without any loose ...ends. Tenille was always on point, she knew my case, the specifics, the goals, and did not get things mixed up with other cases she had on her platter. The communication with her, Denise, and Shannon was always kind, clear, and concise … and if I had any questions, they would ensure they were fully answered prior to ending any conversation either over the phone, in person, or email. Vernier and Associates is not the least expensive firm out there …. But always remember … you get what you pay for and I am totally satisfied with the Firm and their exceptional associates that always exceeded expectations.

Loyal to Client's needs

It was a relief to have someone like Ruth working for me and with me during a difficult time. She was the voice I needed when I couldn't always find my own. She was professional, punctual and answered every question I had.

Thank you, Ruth!

I just recently finalized a divorce from an adversarial, abusive spouse. Ruth worked hard to make sure I was protected in every way, both financially and legally. She took the time to explain the process and contacted me on weekends and after hours with pertinent information regarding my case. Her... office staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Ruth is a strong advocate for women, and works hard to protect their interests and the interests of their children.

Skip is awesome!

Skip Lanz, who works under Ruth, represented my case. He was always available to take my phone calls or returned them in a timely manner. As the laws for Father's are limited, I was able to obtain more than my fair share because Skip wouldn't settle. Skip was realistic on what I could obtain and not ...setting high hopes. Also, Tara, the paralegal, she is wonderful! I had met for a consultation previously before hiring Ruth's firm to represent. If you are struggling to decide on whether or not you should hire representation, here is my analogy. If you are having issues with your car, are you going to fix it yourself, or are you going to hire a mechanic to fix it? If you know how to fix the problem, you don't need a mechanic. However, if you don't know how to fix the problem, you would hire a mechanic to fix it. If you know the law, then you don't need an attorney. But if you don't know all the laws, then I would highly recommend you hire an attorney. (Note: just because you have had friends/family go through a divorce, doesn't mean they know all the laws. Every single case is different). You can't go wrong with Ruth's firm.

Best Attorney in Houston!

I have already recommended this attorney to many people and will continue to do so. From the very beginning when I was very emotional, Ruth showed caring, compassion and the sensitivity that I needed during a very difficult time in my life. I am a man who was in the middle of a custody battle, w...hich in the state of Texas usually always goes to the woman. Ruth was instrumental in helping me win my case and most importantly always had my childrens best interest at heart. She even went as far as giving them gifts, as she was very compassionate to them and what they were going through as well. Ruth was very professional in all that she did, and always kept me very informed answering all of my communications very promptly. There were many times she got in touch with me before I could contact her. Every step of the way, she kept me updated on what was going on and what the charges would be. All charges where explained to me before I hired her, which to me was very important. Ruth's knowledge and contacts within the legal industry will far exceed your expectations. She is straight forward and honest with staunch uprightness and sterling character. There are many attorneys out there who are just looking to get paid and do not represent their clients with 100% of their ability. Ruth cares about her clients and their cases more than anything else, and when it comes to money I cannot begin to explain how much her help meant to me. Ruth is worth way more than what she charges. If you are reading this and looking for an attorney, look no further, go talk to Ruth Vernier. Tell her you heard she eats red meat for breakfast. My case was not the first custody case for a man she has won, and it certainly will not be the last.
