Georges Clement Nama

Georges C. Nama, Esq. is a licensed business lawyer in Texas and Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Kachikwu & Nama Law Firm, a Texas law firm serving clients across the USA and around the world. Admitted by the Supreme Court of Texas in 2024, he brings more than 25 years of legal practice, beginning in Gabon, in contracts, company formation, real estate, business immigration, oil and gas, mining and infrastructure.

Georges began his career in Libreville, advising the Government of Gabon on mineral transactions, including uranium and manganese, and on oil and gas matters. Since then he has advised U.S. law firms, African governments and international mining companies on manganese and uranium transactions.

He has been a member of the Association of International Energy Negotiators (AIEN) since 2008 and sits on three of its model-contract committees: Host Government Agreement, Incorporated Joint Venture Agreement and Gas Sales Agreement. He draws on those industry model contracts when he drafts and negotiates cross-border agreements for clients.

His practice covers contracts, company formation, real estate, business immigration and investment in the United States, . transactions, and oil, gas and mining matters. He has worked in Texas and across the United States, in Gabon and Central Africa, and in Nigeria. He holds a Post-Juris Doctor Law Degree (LL.M.) from the University of Houston Law Center and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He works in English, French and Spanish.
