I was originally charged with assault and talked with Mike about my case and hired him immediately. He was reassuring but honest the whole way. Attorney Mike Trent helped me dismissed and expunged my case charged with second degree felony. It was about injury to child, a false setup triggered by reckless family members and amplified by unreasonable local police department. I was locked and hold from dawn in police station and then transfe...rred to the downtown building basement at evening until got bonded out after midnight. It was a miserable adventure because PD treat the locked up people in a very miserable way, little food, no water, cold and concrete bench, maybe just want to make people feel they never want to come back again and be tortured in those miserable places. Of course the judges and prosecutors know him well also because they used to work together as colleagues. His familiarity with prosecutors and their personalities and behaviors helped a lot to make the case solving much smoother. After all, Mike and his defendant, I in this case, form a short-term partnership, we had to team up and made things work out as our most favorable and we did it perfectly. Each penny of the attorney fee worth it even it was an upfront charge onetime payment contract. I even consider the attorney fee to Mike had made much better return to cost ratio when compared to that of property tax paid to county, and those of health care insurance and payment.
