Robert Selah Griffin

Robert ‘Bob’ Griffin is a trial attorney based in the Conroe and Greater Houston Area. He advocates for individuals, businesses, beneficiaries, and administrators who seek an efficient and effective solution to difficult problems. When it comes to your case, his courtroom experience is utilized from the start; and if the unthinkable happens, Bob is right there to be your proponent to the Court.

Bob’s practice focuses on start-ups, small businesses, construction litigation, automotive issues, and medical technology, as well as estate planning and probate litigation. You will also find hime lecturing on negotiation to various graduate classes at UHCL and LSU. In his personal life, he ensures that these subjects are part of his every day. On some nights and weekends, you will find him restoring an old bungalow with friends and family – and professionals when necessary; his wife still is not so sure about his electrical work. Other times, he is building an auto racing team, working for as a Judge in the 24 Hours of Lemons, importing ridiculous Japanese cars, or rebuilding even more atypical cars. On rainy evenings, or when parts are still in transit, he’s developing dynasty, technology, and firearms trusts, for fun. The issues you face are issues Bob strives to understand thoroughly. He apologizes in advance for the occasionally cut up and greasy hands.

In addition to his devotion to racing cars, old homes and his law practice, Bob is happily married to his wife Carrie and has been for many wonderful years since they went to the University of Houston together. (It’s important to say wonderful, trust me). They likely would have been high school sweethearts, but Carrie did not attend St. Pius X High School in Houston, Texas. They are a devoted aunt and uncle to a growing set of niblings, with a couple fluffy rescue dogs.

To end with the stuffy lawyer stuff; Bob has been practicing law for over a decade, holds certificates from the A.A. White Dispute Resolution Center at the University of Houston Law Center in both international commercial arbitration and mediation, graduated cum laude from the University of Houston Law Center, magna cum laude from the Honors College at the University of Houston with a double major in economics and political science, is a member of the Texas Bar College and he regularly lectures on firearms law and negotiation.
