Joshua Bradley Lake

Joshua represents individuals and businesses facing federal criminal appeals, government investigations, and white-collar criminal cases. Before 2022, Joshua served as an Assistant Federal Public Defender in Houston, where he represented clients facing criminal charges in the Southern District of Texas and appeals before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. During that time, Joshua also served as the training director, teaching and hosting dozens of CLEs on topics including forfeiture, digital evidence, and the Fourth Amendment. From 2013 to 2015, Joshua was a Deputy State Public Defender in Alamosa, Colorado. Before that, Joshua attended Georgetown Law, where he had the opportunity to represent clients in bench trials in both the District of Columbia and Nashville, Tennessee. He is also a graduate of Texas A&M, where he studied philosophy.
