Don’t waste your time and money

First I like to say I don’t do a lot a reviews, I will take the time to write them when things or services are above and beyond in excellence or just so terrible and a a waste of time and money. With that said I am writing this review to advise the Houstonian public searching for a real estate attorn...ey of my bad experience with this law firm. The lack of professionalism and the shady billing is only part of it. A simple purchase of a property direct from a seller started out as a $3000.00 fee which to me was high considering what documents needed to be drawn up , then one day before the closing which took these folks over two weeks they advised they had exhausted the original $3000.00 and needed and additional $ 3000.00 to complete the transaction “i guess $ 3000.00 is they’re magic number “ so $ 6000.00 into this fiasco the communication went even further south with no return phone calls, emails ect. and when they were returned there were rude to say the least and filled with nothing but excuses everything from “I don’t know “ to my partner was injured to I’m in court and can’t deal with your situation right now which to me was the most absurd. This review is in no attempt to blemish their personal characteristics this is strictly written from a business perspective. I wouldn’t use this ever again nor would I recommend them to my worst enemies. They are straight up BS from start to finish. That was my experience and the public needs to be aware.

Would not recommend!

I hired Titus law firm for a realestate fraud case. After paying him, it took him 3 weeks just to start the process. His assistant called me 3 weeks later just to ask for the same information. He then gave me an excuse about their growth and how they are hiring. Well he knew that before he took my mo...ney. If he couldnt handle the load, he should had said that. In addition, there was no communication. For example, i didnt hear from him after another month! He wasnt responsive to calls and texts. When i called him, my calls were forwarded. On top of that, he had me on hold for about 15 min on several occassions. I have wasted thousands of dollars and time with my issue. Now, i have to start from scratch and find someone else. Horrible experience. Be ware!

Mr. Beck, you hired my firm and paid a $2,000.00 retainer. We billed you for expenses at cost which totaled about 1350. We billed for our time at a 50% discount and earned about 650. We continued working and incurred billable hours and expenses in the amount of about 1300. We did not ask you to remit payment for the outstanding amount. All of this was *after* we explained that litigation takes time and is a costly endeavor, even with the discount we provided. Furthermore, me and my team spoke with you quite a bit, however, we cannot spend all of our time speaking with you as it will not leave us time to do the actual work. Lastly, we ended the attorney client relationship and you decided to post this review because we would not keep you as a client. I find this to be entirely unethical and retaliatory. Nonetheless, best wishes with your suit.
