Biography
Caryn is a trial lawyer who represents plaintiffs in all areas of personal injury law, with a focus on Mesothelioma lung cancer cases, pharmaceutical and medical device liability cases as well as wrongful death and catastrophic personal injury cases. She has also represented plaintiffs in other areas of the law, including toxic torts, products liability, commercial litigation and first party bad faith insurance claims. Caryn is licensed to practice law in courts in the States of Texas and Oklahoma and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
Caryn co-founded the Paula Gavrel Asher Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation which raises funds for breast cancer research. The annual Judiciary event for the Paula Gavrel Asher Foundation has won several awards from legal associations. Caryn is also a member of the Junior League of Houston.
