Full-Service Eviction Representation, Including Collection

I researched more than 100 eviction law firms and personally spoke with approximately 20 attorneys or firms before narrowing down my options. Cweren Law was easily among my top three. What stood out most about Brian Cweren was the depth of his knowledge and the fact that he looks beyond the evicti...on itself. During our consultation, Brian explained not only how his firm handles the eviction process, but also what happens if unpaid rent remains afterward. He discussed civil litigation, judgment enforcement, collection, and potential appeals. Many eviction firms I contacted in Houston focused almost entirely on recovering possession of the property and did not handle the collection side. Brian’s practice was much broader. I was also impressed by how thoroughly he approached the case. After our conversation, he reviewed my documents and asked me to complete a very detailed questionnaire covering the full history of the tenancy and dispute. Very few firms I contacted went into that level of detail before moving forward. His responsiveness also stood out. On one occasion, I sent him an email very late at night and received a response at around 2:00 AM Houston time. I certainly did not expect a reply at that hour, but it showed how attentive he was to the matter. Brian has been recognized as a Super Lawyers attorney. I normally do not put much weight on awards or credentials by themselves, but after speaking with him, I understood why he received that recognition. For a landlord looking for an attorney who can handle not only the eviction, but also the broader legal issues that can follow, including litigation, appeals, judgment enforcement, and collection, I would strongly recommend speaking with Brian Cweren. His legal knowledge, preparation, responsiveness, and ability to understand the full picture made a very strong impression on me.
