I handle tax, business, and probate matters.  

I have worked as an IRS attorney and as an IRS appeals officer, lead a tax controversy team for a boutique consulting firm, worked in the tax departments for two Fortune 500 companies, worked for a Big Four accounting firm, and had my own tax practice. The unique advantage of having worked in more than one capacity for the IRS and in just about every tax role available gives me a unique insight into the tax authorities and busienss transactions.

This experience includes handling signficant disputes with the IRS and state tax authorities for both businesses and individuals. I have represented businesses ranging from entrepreneurs to multinational corporations, in industries such as high technology, manufacturing, oil and gas, and government contracting.

On the tax planning side, I focus on state and federal tax credits and incentives, employee benefits, mergers and acquisitions, and individual, gift, and estate tax planning.

For business transactions, I focus on real estate deals and business mergers and sales.  

I also handle probate administration and estate planning in Texas.  This includes uncontested and contested probates and advance estate planning, such as chartiable and special needs trusts.
