Summer Gayle Doyal-Breshears

Summer Doyal-Breshears is a licensed Texas attorney whose legal career is defined by perseverance, compassion, and a commitment to helping individuals navigate challenging circumstances.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Management and Marketing from the University of Houston–Clear Lake in 2018 while raising her two-year-old daughter. Inspired by her family's experience navigating the justice system after her mother was the victim of an aggravated sexual assault, she developed a passion for advocacy and a desire to help others during difficult moments in their lives.

She began her legal education at Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law in August 2020 before transferring to South Texas College of Law Houston in August 2021. Through dedication and hard work, she completed law school in just 2½ years and graduated in December 2022. After successfully passing the February 2023 Texas Bar Examination, she became licensed to practice law in Texas in April 2023.

Since becoming licensed, Summer has gained substantial experience working with Texas families and individuals facing complex legal issues. Her background has provided her with valuable insight into client advocacy, case evaluation, and guiding clients through important legal decisions. In her current role as Intake Attorney, she serves as a trusted first point of contact for prospective clients, helping them understand their legal options and connecting them with the resources and representation they need.

As both an attorney and a mother, Summer understands the importance of family and the impact legal issues can have on everyday life. She is the proud mother of two children and strives to approach every client interaction with empathy, professionalism, and respect.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading, weightlifting, and spending quality time with her family. She takes great pride in being a mother and believes her personal experiences have strengthened her ability to connect with and serve others.
