I have tried over 120 jury cases in state and federal courts involving business and personal injury disputes of many types, including contract disputes, partnership and closely held corporation shareholder disputes, derivative and fiduciary duty claims, minority shareholder oppression, construction claims, major fire damage claims both for defendants (especially electrical product manufacturers), automobile crashes, insurance coverage, construction defect claims, and others mentioned below.

Our central focus in recent years has focused on litigation involving disputes among owners of highly successful businesses that are owned by a few partners or shareholders who have disagreements regarding such things as control, distributions, debt, sale of all or a part of the business, expansion and acquisitions, etc.

The main focus of our firm's practice currently is commercial litigation, including shareholder disputes in closely held companies, disputes among investors or partners, derivative claims, disputes over contracts and debts, insurance coverage disputes, contract breaches and similar claims. The cases we have experience in also include others, such as oil and gas issues, Superfund, requirements contracts, insurance coverage, banking, indemnity, notes and obligations, and various contract claims.

Our 4 partner firm has recovered far in excess of $100 million from insurers in various litigated and other adversarial claims on behalf of various insureds.
