I was admitted into the Hospital, and at the time I was self employed with no health insurance at all. When I was in the procedure room, the person from the billing department that does insurance checkups came to my room and they assumed that I had no insurance and did not go over any payment situati...ons or plans that I could have possibly chosen since I did not have insurance at that time.
