Biography
Matthew A. Kornhauser is one Texas' leading attorneys in land use, restrictive covenant, and OFAC matters. A graduate of South Texas College of Law Houston, Mr. Kornhauser has spent the last three decades forging an impressive reputation as a resourceful and incisive litigator in the business and real estate law arenas. He has been Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, tried cases in some of Texas highest courts, and even argued before the United States Supreme Court. Due to his courtroom success, he has become a leading authority in land use disputes regarding golf course properties and was even asked by lawmakers to help inform the drafting of new land use legislation. Mr. Kornhauser is also the member of several prestigious legal organizations and has been a principle shareholder of Hoover Slovacek, one of Houston's premier firms, for twenty years.
