You can hire an attorney and file a name change. It does not sound like you are trying to evade creditors or prosecution.

November sounds odd. You can't represent yourself until your attorney withdraws and the withdrawal is signed by the court.

The will nominated you as executor. You have no authority until he court appoints you. Hire a probate lawyer ASAP.
