John Meredith

John has served as an Executive Director/President & General Counsel/COO at non-profits and law firms. He has worked in program development, strategic planning, organizational leadership, fundraising/business development, and team-building.

John graduated from the University of North Georgia (BBA), Georgia Tech (MBA), Baylor University School of Law (JD), and Harvard University (MPA). He started his career as an attorney at a Houston law firm. Also, he was an Adjunct Professor teaching public relations at Houston Christian University.

John has been a featured speaker at universities and local, statewide, and national conferences. He is the author of legal and professional articles.

John completed leadership training programs through American Leadership Forum, Center for Houston’s Future, FBI Citizens’ Academy, and Leadership Houston. John is a Board Member for SpringSpirit and the Houston Racquet Club, Deacon at Second Baptist, and Chairman of the Center for Christianity in Business.

In recognition of John’s community and professional service, John carried the Olympic Torch for the Atlanta Olympic Games. He received the Robert F. Kennedy Award from Harvard University, Outstanding Young Lawyer of Houston and Outstanding Young Lawyer of Texas, University of North Georgia Young Alumnus of the Year, Baylor Young Alumnus of the Year, and Baylor Young Lawyer of the Year.

John is a Life Fellow with the Texas Bar Foundation, Houston Bar Foundation, and Houston Young Lawyers Foundation. John also received a Ten Outstanding Young Americans Award from the U.S. Junior Chamber of Commerce.
