Dylan Benjamen Russell

Dylan Russell is a partner in the Hoover Slovacek LLP litigation and appellate practice sections.  He is Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.  Now in his fifteenth year of practice after joining the firm as a law clerk in 2002, his focus is in the area of complex litigation and appeals.  In his trial practice, he has successfully tried numerous jury and bench trials as first-chair counsel.  In his appellate practice, he has presented oral arguments to the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and Second Circuit, the Texas Supreme Court, and to the lower appellate courts, including numerous times to the First and Fourteenth Courts of Appeals in Houston and also the courts of appeals in Waco and Corpus Christi.  He has also briefed many appeals and petitions for writ of mandamus to the Texas Supreme Court and many lower courts of appeals throughout Texas.
