Dominique Darnell Calhoun

Dominique D. Calhoun is a native Texan. He attended Midwestern State University, located in Wichita Falls, Texas, where he earned a Bachelors of Science and Masters in Business Administration. He earned his Juris Doctorate at the Texas Southern University's Thurgood Marshall School of Law, graduating in the top 10% of his class. During his tenure in law school, Calhoun was appointed by the Governor of Texas to serve as the Student Regent for Texas Southern University; he also served as the President of the Student Bar Association and on the school's law review.

Calhoun is a partner for Calhoun, Meredith, & Sims, PLLC, focusing on providing clients with exceptional counsel in multiple practice areas. Calhoun currently serves as the Vice President of the National Bar Association; Vice Chair for the Greater Houston Black Chamber of Commerce's Foundation; member of the State Bar of Texas's Diversity in the Profession Committee; National Liaison for the March for Dimes; board member for Undies for Everyone; and serves on multiple committees - on the national, regional, and local levels - for Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
