Biography
A. Lewis Ward was raised on a farm in north-central Florida. Rural upbringings taught him strategy, hard work, discipline, honesty, and integrity. Lewis carries these values with him to this day and knows how to utilize them to interact with and obtain results for his clients.
Education
Lewis graduated from the University of Florida in 1969 with a BS in Agriculture. He launched into the field of agricultural economics, working as Assistant Director of Farm Records and Tax Service for the Florida Farm Bureau Federation. He was promoted quickly and served as Director during the rest of his stay with the Federation.
After deciding to study law, Lewis was accepted into South Texas College of Law in 1972. He graduated and took the Bar Exam in 1977. Lewis is licensed to practice law in all Texas courts and Federal courts in the southern district of Texas.
Community
Lewis is continuously immersed in the legal community. He is a member of various sections of both the State Bar of Texas and the Houston Bar Association.
Additionally, Lewis has sat on the Board of Directors for the Robert Cummings Memorial Scholarship Fund, and he continues to sit on the Board of Directors for Ensource Corporation. He’s been a part of the Enterprise Bank Advisory Counsil and has had the position of Vice President and President of the Southwest Houston Chamber of Commerce.
Most recently, Lewis has been both VP and President of the Houston Inner Loop chapter of Business Networking International.
