My name is Chadrick Stewart Henderson. I was born on July 17, 1969 in Dallas, Texas. I spent the majority of my youth in Moody, Texas. Additionally, I lived in Germany and Kentucky for a period of time during my youth. Moody, Texas is a small rural town in McLennan County with a population of about 1400 people. It is located approximately 20 miles southwest of Waco, Texas. In 1987, I graduated from Moody High School.
Upon graduating, I attended Prairie View A&M University located in Prairie View, Texas. At Prairie View, I majored in political science and my minor was in economics. In 1991, I completed my course of study at Prairie View A & M University and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree.
Thereafter, I returned to Moody, Texas and obtained employment in Waco, Texas at American Income Life Insurance Company. My position with American Income Life Insurance Company was as an underwriter. I worked at American Income Life Insurance Company for approximately one year. While at the insurance company, I decided to attend law school. I had an eagerness to learn about the legal process and the impact it has on society.
In 1993, I was accepted into South Texas College of Law located in Houston, Texas. In 1996, I obtained my Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from South Texas College of Law. Thereafter, I studied and pass the bar for the State of Texas and started my practice in 1997. The focus of my practice was criminal law. While in law school, I had worked at a local bonding company and learn how the criminal justice system operates in Harris County.
From the inception of my practice in 1997 to the present, the majority of my cases have been in the criminal law area. I have handled over 2600+ criminal cases. Additionally, I have practiced in all 37 out of the 38 Criminal Courts in Houston, Harris County, Texas. Additionally, I have represented individuals with criminal charges in numerous other counties in Texas. These counties would include: Galveston County, Fort Bend County, Brazoria County, Grimes County, Montgomery County, Travis County, Falls County, Brazos County. Waller County, Bell County, McLennan County, Burleson County, Washington County, Coryell County, Matagorda County, Falls County, Jackson County, and Lee County
I have handled every type of criminal case from a Class B misdemeanor to lst degree felony. The range of punishment for these cases goes from 6 months in the county jail up to life in the penitentiary. I enjoyed practicing criminal law and helping people navigate to the criminal justice system to a resolution to their cases. Also, I have assisted numerous individuals with personal injury and family cases.
I thank you for taking your time to read my biography and I look forward to assisting you with your legal dilemma.
